Right in the heart of Gibsons Landing, Winegarden Park overlooks Gibsons habour and marina, with stunning views of Keats Island, Howe Sound and the Coast Mountain range. A popular venue for summer music events with the covered entertainment stage slioping grass field. The park features a stream with ponds, watercourse play area for kids, wide wheelchair accessible gravel pathways and public washrooms.

Located in lower Gibsons on Gower Point Road.

Roberts Creek Beaches + Lakes + Parks
Roberts Creek Provincial Park
Located on both sides of Highway 101, 12 km west of Gibson’s Landing on the Sunshine Coast.
39-hectare Roberts Creek Provincial Park is wheelchair accessible and facilities include a sani-station near the campground entrance, but no flush toilets or showers. The park is open from May to September.
is two separate sites. One is a waterfront park, accessible from Beach Avenue, and the other is a provincial campground roughly a kilometer away. The campground entrance is on the highway or you can access it on foot or bicycle from Park Road.
The camping area is located in forest of large cedars, Douglas fir and Hemlock trees.
The waterfront park has a cobblestone beach and picnic area which is a good viewing area for sea stars, mussels and oysters or for watching whales, seals and ducks (in winter) offshore.
Roberts Creek Pier
Location. Turn off Hwy 101 and head straight down to the end of Roberts Creek Road.
This is the popular location of the annual community Mandala painting celebrating the "Day out of time.
Four washroom facilities available, two are wheelchair accessible.
Flume Beach Park
Location: Flume Road and Beach Avenue. intersection. It's a small beach has a great swimming and picnic area.

On Ripple Way take a left and continue past the Sechelt Golf Club. Public park great for picnics, team sports with 2 baseball fields and one soccer field., adventure playground for kids and an a small and large concession area plus several walking trails.
The Kinnikinnick Park is named after a west coast low lying shrub and also referred to as "Bear Berry".

Halfmoon Bay Beaches + Lakes + Parks
Sargeant Bay
Located approximately 10 minutes west from Sechelt off Hwy 101. Turn into Halfmoon Bay onto Redrooffs Road and you'll find Sargeant Bay.
From the entrance to Sargeant Bay you can take dedicated hike or mountain biking trails up to Triangle lake or through Connor and Welcome Beach Park.
Trout Lake
Trout Lake is right off the Sunshine Coast Hwy as in Halfmoon Bay. A popular swimming spot. There isn't a beach area so you can in the water from the large rocks along the shoreline. The lake is very deep so its not best for kids unless you get them all ready with life jackets.
The lake used to be the water source for Halfmoon Bay. If you turn up Trout Lake road you will find a small trail into the lake with an outhouse and picnic area.
Coopers Green Park
550 Fishermans Road located off Redroofs Road
This waterfront park is a day use destination area that is a popular hang out for visitors interested in enjoying a picnic, a game of horseshoes, a day out scuba diving, swimming, playing beach volleyball courts or to launch a boat. The warm and shallow waters makes this a popular dive spot. This area is known as the home of the Pacific Octopus.
Coopers Green Regional Park has washroom facilities and a community hall onsite available to rent for special events.
Welcome Beach is one of the rare sandy beaches on the Sunshine Coast. No street public directional signage and limited parking making so this quiet beach with mostly locals.
Pender Harbour Beaches + Lakes + Parks
Garden Bay Marine Provincial Park
Location: Take Hwy 101 north past Madeira Park; turn left on Garden Bay Road. At Garden Bay Lake keep left and drive approximately 2 km to Claydon Road.
Established in 1969, and features 200 m (650 ft) of shoreline. Open all year with a boating area wih secure acnchorage and a small dock. Also a great place for fishing, swimming and picnics.
Ruby Lake + Dan Bosch
Location: Off Hwy 101 which follows the coast line of Ruby Lake in Egmont. Its approx 15 minutes south of Earls Cove BC Ferry Terminal.
There is a boat launch down Ramp Road which is approx a couple minutes from Ruby Lake Resort. Kayak and Stand up Paddle Board rentals are available for rent.
Ruby lake is adjacent to North Lake and Klein Lake. Popular for swimming, fishing, picnics and hiking with an approx 8km looping trail around Ruby Lake.
Baker Beach Park
Location: Take a left off Hwy 101 at Francis Peninsula Road and head west for approximately 2.5 kms then turn south on Warnock Road, follow to Davis Road, turn left. Follow Davis Road to Baker Road.
Baker Beach Park is approx. 12.35 hectares (5 acres) and has a wheelchair accessible path that takes you to a picnic and swimming beach area.
